Village of Jeffersonville

The Smugglers Notch Inn is located in the heart of Jeffersonville with numerous shops, art galleries, eateries, a bike rental and repair shop, and a general store. The Lamoille and Brewster Rivers are also within a short walking distance and can be used for fishing, swimming, canoeing or kayaking.

Smugglers Notch Ski Resort

From downhill and cross country skiing in the winter to outdoor waterparks, mountain biking and fun zone in the summer/ fall, Smugglers Notch Resort has something for everyone.  4.8 miles from the inn.

Vermont Canoe and Kayak

Canoe and kayak rentals and guided or self-guided tours of the Lamoille River. 0.3 miles from the inn.

Lamoille Valley Rail Trail

One of the newest attractions in our area and state of Vermont for that matter, the LVRT will run the entire width of the state when fully completed (scheduled for completion fall of 2022) making it the longest rail trail in New England.  The section from Jeffersonville to Morrisville, approximately 25 miles, has been completed and is being utilized by outdoor enthusiasts on a daily basis.The LVRT can be accessed in various locations near the inn.  The LVRT is used for snowmobiling in the winter, and bike riding, walking, and jogging in the summer/ fall.  Bootleggers Bikes in town has bike rentals. 0.3 miles from the inn.

Arbortrek Canopy Adventures

One of the best, if not the best, zipline adventure in the state.  Arbortrek also has treetop obstacle courses to challenge all abilities. 4.4 miles from the inn.

Smugglers Notch State Park

Located on scenic Vt 108, Smugglers Notch State Park is full of beauty and opportunity for the outdoor enthusiast.  There are numerous hiking trails, including parts of the Long Trail, which runs the entire length of the state from Massachusetts to Canada, Sterling Pond Trail, and the challenging Hellbrook Trail among others.  Approximately 8 miles from the inn. (Please note that the Vermont 108, the Notch Road, is closed from November thru April).

Brewster River Disc Golf Course

Named UDiscs #5 disc course in the world, and host of many tournaments each year, this scenic course is a great way to enjoy the beauty of our area and get some exercise at the same time. 4.2 miles from the inn.

Boyden Valley Winery and Spirits

From various wines, to bourbons, to liqueurs, Boyden Valley Winery has been an area staple for generations.  Wine and liquor tasting available.  3.2 miles from the inn.
